| Major contract for SOLEN Energy GmbH in Italy |
 After generating considerable revenue in Italy last year, Payom Solar AG has founded its own Italian branch office through subsidiary Solen Energy GmbH (Solen). The newly founded company, Solen Energy Italia SAS, based in Turbigo to the north of Milan, began trading with a massive order. It has concluded a contract with a Danish group of investors for roof projects with a total volume of 4 megawatts (MW). The order is worth in excess of 13 million euros. Business is also booming for Solen's other foreign subsidiaries. While Dutch subsidiary Solen Energy NL has around 3 MW of projects in the pipeline, British subsidiary Solen Energy UK is working on projects of around 4.3 MW. "We still see great potential for growth in all our foreign subsidiaries. In the UK, we have recently concluded a really positive agreement with the council in Cornwall and NatWest Bank for the marketing and construction of photovoltaic roof systems," explains Detmar Dettmann, Managing Director of Solen Energy GmbH. |
